Summary: 

I was someone who had a way with women, whether it was from my looks or words. But our village happened to be rather small and, after some time, I’d already had my fill of the ones closer to my age. So, I set my eyes on the most unique woman in the village, who happened to be one of the half-beast folks you'd hear about in stories from places beyond our walls.

 

Her name was Marissa, a motherly and kind widow whose body was shrouded in a soft layer of wool. She had come to the village some time ago and worked her way into becoming the local yarn spinner who everyone knew and loved for being kind without a fault. It was when she came looking for a woodworker to help repair her loom that I decided to make my move.

 

Little did I know she happened to be a different person away from prying eyes. That she wasn’t just some clueless sheep, and it wasn’t by chance she sought me out. For the first time it seemed like I was the one being preyed on as an autumn storm left me stuck in her home until morning with no way out…
